The updated Minibook X was announced in like November or December but I’ve seen nothing since then until I came across this post on reddit:
It seems like it’s available in Japan and maybe some other countries, because it’s in the global store when I go there. There are some minor differences that the post lists but the big ones are display with NO PEN SUPPORT and active cooling.
Some of the number keys on my Minibook stopped working (didn’t spill anything, but maybe a few drops from wet hands or in the bag got in) so I thought I could upgrade but no pen support makes it a non-starer. Really disappointing decision. What I’d really like in an update is:
- N100 CPU
- Bigger battery
- Pen suport
