It sounds like you’ve left it unused for too long. The battery is connected permanently and uses a ‘soft off’ switch, so even when off it will use a small amount of power which willl drain the battery. If left discharged it will kill the battery, and I think you may need a new one. Does it power on with charger connected? The battery might recover but I wouldn’t hold out much hope tbh. My HI10 doesn’t get much use either as it’s not my main computer, but I try to charge it every few months just to keep it topped up.
