Hi!
I have windows 11 since a long time on my laptop, but the touchpad randomly stopped working (it wasn’t turned off by fn+ESC) at first, and now is not working anymore.
On “my devices”, there was a HID device with a yellow “!”. Lokking for error details, there was written “I2C HID Device A request for the HID descriptor failed”.
I tried to update the drivers, but touchpad is still not working, so I believe it could be a Hardware fault…
Advices?

Hello! Thank you for your answer!
I tried updating drivers for the “HID I2C device” which has the yellow “!” sign on the icon in device management, and the descripation “A request for the HID descriptor failed.”. Nonetheless, Windows says that best drivers are already installed for this device. Which drivers in the folder you shared should I force the system to use? I cannot read the names, because they are in Chinese alphabet.
For the Windows reinstallation, there is no file in the Mediafire link you sent. Can you please update the link? Thank you very much!
