Hello all,

I bought a Chuwi HI10 XPro in the beginning of 2024 but I’m not using it very often because it reboots itself randomly. I’m experiencing this issue since some months, more or less the Spring 2025. I’ve tried to verify the installed apps to identify the root cause with no luck. So I tried to perform a full reset ( factory reset ) for 3 times this last Summer but the problem is still there : it reboots itself randomly, using a web browser, watching a movie with Prime Video, writing an email… Sometimes after using it for 10-15 minutes, other times this happens after a couple of minutes after turning it on. So sad…

I’m thinking to buy another tablet but on Amazon I’ve recently noticed that this tablet is still alive, it can be bought with Android 15 now and it seems to have the same hardware of mine probably.

My tablet can be upgraded ? From the current A13 to A15 ? Or at least, to A14 ? Maybe an upgrade can fix the issue ? I would like to try before putting it into the trash and buying a new one !

I’ve read this section of the Chuwi Forum and there’re several topics for that, if I’m not wrong the possibility to upgrade the tablet depends on the Serial Number…

The S/N of my tablet is YH10XpAB10230500969. If admin users are able to provide me the link for downloading a firmware, the Windows Drivers, the tool for upgrading and the instructions… would be really great !

It depends on whether Chuwi has released an update for your device model.

You can ask Chuwi support.

Thanks for your answer. So basically, I’ve to send an email ? store@chuwi.com you mean ? I’ve done months ago, a couple of emails but no answer at all… Maybe it was because I’ve specified to have bought my tablet on Amazon and not directly from their online store ? :pensive_face:
