Herobook Touchpad Problem

Hi all,
i’m sitting here with an older HeroBook on my knees and I don’t what do do…
Succesfully installed a “modified” Win 11 Home and everything works. Same as on other much older systems I updated in this way. This is not the cause.
Activation: done
Updates: running well
DeviceManager without yellow flags
Serial-#: HeroBookQ64G19083978
Intel Atom E8000, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB (Awful, I know, even enough for my purpose).

But the damn touchpad is terrible and unusable. :face_with_spiral_eyes:
Arrow moves a little bit, freezes, moves again after a few seconds and the clicking results in funny actions.
I tried to use different HID driver which are mentioned here in some threads, but no success.
The old thing would be good for Internet and mail on vacation, but if I can’t find a solution I’ll throw it away.
It’s a shame and not sustainable either…

Has anybody an idea which driver works or what else I’ve done wrong?

Thanks for all response.
Frank

Hi.
Have you tried using a wireless mouse ?

Hi.
Not a wireless, only a wired mouse, works perfect.

Install the drivers

Thanks for the hint, but
Service Center recognizes my serial no with following comment:

“Database Working Un-normal now, Please contact local retails and distributor for Service.”

Since weeks, many trials, everytime the same.
I’m getting tired of it and will throw it away in a few days.
