I have just bought HiPen H7 for my Minibook X, but it doesn’t seem to work.
Any idea on how can I make it work?
Do you have the old or the new Minibook, without the hole punch camera? The new one doesn’t seem to support pens at all 
If it’s the old one, check to make sure the pen is charged, it’s not a passive one like Wacom. Also check in the System Settings->About if it says “Pen and touch support with 10 touch points”

Any possibility to update the driver, so that it will support pens?

It does not work in Minibook , H7 has MPP protocol. Minibook Does not have it. That is why H8 is the only valid one.
