Hello! Is it possible to install windows 10 or or Linux to CHUWI Hi9 Plus 10,8?
Not possible, there are no Windows drivers for Mediatek processors.
If you need a Windows tablet, look at the Hi10X, UBook or UBook Pro
You can get linux to work on it if that soc have linux support but it will take some basic linux skills to achieve that.
Not recommended for normal users. Until chuwi release devices pre-installed with linux.
Cheers.
Yes, it is possible hence MediaTek is an ARM processor and Linux does in fact have support for ARM architecture. But like spikerguy said, it will take a lot of skill to put it to work.
Yes but from a quick online search I see that MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795 doesn’t have any support in linux and there is no way to unlock bootloader and get a uboot on it, So lets not give high hope to the OP
Without a u-boot and Kernel Developer this is impossible for now. So user might have stay with android only for now.
