Just got this day before yesterday. Sitting with the device on my lap typing, the underside gets too hot to be comfortable against my skin, but the fan never comes on (the device is silent and no air is coming out the ports on the left side). Have looked for a setting for the fan, but haven’t found one. What else should I be looking for?
Don’t put it on your lap or in bed while using your laptop: it generates more heat for the device.
In summer, you can use a base with a fan.
You can install cpu-z or similar to check that the fan is working.
Is a small computer so its normal it has some areas more hot. If you think something is verystrange , you have 14 days to return it since you received it
