PSA: In case anyone else has this trouble, my RZBOX arrived with no Wi-Fi driver and didn’t find any during hardwire connection to the internet. Interestingly, though, Bluetooth worked perfectly out of the box. Therefore, the version that worked for me is below; soon as installation finished, the adapter was displayed under network adapters, whereas it wasn’t before.
How did you get Windows to install?? My dilemma…
I’m trying to install windows on the recently released CHUWI RZBOX (barebones edition) from a USB 3.0 (made with the windows media tool), but I keep running into the following error:
“Windows cannot install required files. Make sure all files required for installation are available and restart the installation. Error code: 0x800701B1”
This usually happens at the “Getting files ready for installation” step, anywhere between 4% and 12%
The RZBOX barebones doesn’t come with RAM and SSD, so I’ve added the following:
- Samsung 970 Evo 2 Tb (M.2 NVMe)
- Kingston Fury Impact SODIMM DDR4 (2x16 Gb)
