Hi, I am thinking of buying the Minibook X N5 100. I want to buy a stylus pen to go with it but I can not seem to find H8 pen anywhere. I saw a poste that you discontinued it. Is it true? In that case what is the best solution.
Do not buy MiniBook X 5100 as is already discontinued. IS better to buy N150.
Okay, what about the stylus pen. I can not find the H8. Can i buy one from a nother brand?
The MiniBook screen does not support “active” styluses. This means that there will be no pressure recognition and the touchscreen will not “see” the stylus over the screen surface (without touching it directly). You can use “universal” capacitive stylus, HiPen H8 is just one of them, it will work with your smartphone, and any other universal stylus will work with MiniBook, and for example with smartphones and android tablets, etc. The universal capacitive stylus is simply a “thin electronic finger”.
But FreeBook for example has a stylus HiPen H7 and it is active, but in general there is a stylus with MPP 2.0 protocol and third-party styluses with this protocol also work on my FreeBook, I like to draw on it.
In summary, you can look for H8, or try universal styluses for capacitive screens, but it will be just a “thinner analog of a finger” and the laptop will not see it as a stylus, and you will not have the advantages of a full-featured active stylus.
the response of GOldi is very accurate.
RIght now we dont have H8 we are trying to improve it so its currently on trials.
Any capacitive pen on the market should work
