What are the dimensions of the barrel connector of the Chuwi Corebook XPro i5 8259u? A person from another post said that it is 5.5 * 2.5mm but I’m not sure it’s the same for my model since they did not specify the chipset.
As far as I know, this is a user forum; Chuwi support doesn’t monitor it.
What problem are you having with your laptop ?
The charger is busted after a power surge. There is no visible damage on the charger itself but when I tested the voltage with a multimeter, as expected; there is no output.
I already contacted support but no response for now. Which is why I’m looking for alternatives with the biggest roadblock being the connector size of the charger.
I think you could look for a power strip or adapter with surge protection to prevent these problems.
I believe chargers have a protective fuse; you can ask an electronics technician or search on Google or YouTube.
