Chuwi Hipad Max Twitch not working

Hello i have a CHUWI HiPAD MAX tablet with HiPadMAX-680-ROW-NEW-2022-1227-U-V.1.6 however after installing twitch app i get a generic error when trying to log in. When trying beta app it tells me that os/firmware not supported. Is there a newer version of Android 12 for this tablet that works with Twitch? Or any newer version that i can install to check it with Twitch? Or do i have to request the firmware elsewhere?

Hello

What happens when you check for updates ?

You can find help in the app.

There may not be any updates available.. You can contact support.

It tells me that my system is up to date. I saw several posts where people requested a newer version and had received a version from 2024 but i am unsure if they are compatible with my tablet so this is why i posted this here. My issue in particular is with Twitch alone as the rest of the tablet is functioning ok.

So I have sent an email to chuwi about 2 weeks ago and got a reply back shortly telling me my case is being looked into and they will get back to me. I heard nothing about it since…. All i need is a working firmware which works witch twich …

You asked in Twitch help.

According to the app information, the required system is Android 8 and later.

I can install it but when i try to log in i get error message telling me OS/version not supported. Twitch confirmed it’s an issue with the tablet os not the app.

Just got a new Tab S8 Ultra with android 12 which works perfectly with Twitch. Maybe Chuwi doesnt want Twitch working properly on their tablets thats why they are not sending me an updated firmware. Come on Chuwi people, the tablet is for testing apps not casual nonsense.

Hello again, i still need that firmware if anyone at chuwi can help, it would be much apreciated.

You can download the operating system and drivers from the Chuwi website, under Support, Downloads.

Please note that after two years, there may no longer be any new updates.

If you don’t have any downloads or updates, it’s because they haven’t been uploaded or they’ve been removed due to reaching the end of support.

This is complex to explain; I’m not trying to defend Chuwi.

I believe that the software manufacturer should adapt its app to the operating system. There are applications that the developer leaves unsupported.

For example, WhatsApp once mentioned that its app stopped being compatible with a certain version of Android.

When Chuwi launches a new device, it should be compatible with all apps.

If the device is no longer supported, it might not work well with a particular app.
