Corebook X 12450H screen brightness

BRAND NEW - Corebook X 12450H SN: XCorBXlY1H241202776
Also owner of:
OLD Gemibook Pro N5100 SN: JGeBkPCY2H230101478 aprox 2-3years.

I 've bought a brand new corebook X from chuwi store EU 2 weeks ago since i was so satisfied with my Gemibook Pro and it was time to get something freshier and a bit more powerful.
Unfortunatelly when I finished the setup of corebook X I had a negative surprise with the sceen of corebook X.
The brightness difference between my old laptop and the new one is HUGE, the peak brightness of my new corebook is matching EXACTLY with the 50% brightness of the older Gemibook Pro. Also the color are a bit greenish but this is adjustable.

Already went through all windows settings everything is set on max ( full power, plugged in, HDR tried on and off, FN+F7 max), in advanced power settings there is not brightness option.

Is there any explanation about the brightness or anything that i could be missing?

I was so satisfied with the screen of Gemibook and i was expecting to be the same in corebook or even better since its newer and more expensive model…

The Corebook X 12450h has around 250 Nits of peak brightness, which is disappointing. Even older Corebook X laptops with the same resolution screen had around 350 Nits in 2021. Does not make any sense. Power consumption is almost the same as older models, but the battery life has fallen from around 6,5 hours to 3-4. And from what I´ve seen, the BIOS is locked. One of the best things with Chuwi was their unlocked BIOS. So you could fine tune it for lower consumption and better performance. I am waiting for the i9 13900HK Corebook. But if the screen brightness is this bad and the battery life the same or lower, I will pass.

I will pass this to Tech
