Hello!
Since I didn’t see any posts on whether Corebookx can run Arch Linux or not, I have installed and dual-booted myself, and it’s pretty good.
Good side:
Hardware is compatible and recognized, no problem (I have seen some say that for them Linux couldn’t recognize the touchpad, screen flicker, wireless…)
6 h+ battery life (I’m a backend programmer, and when it’s fully charged with some optimizations, it stays up the whole time, Chrome and Spotify in the background, YouTube and other stuff)
Downside:
There were some problems, but nothing that couldn’t be fixed with some coding and the help of AI
I mean it’s Arch, and if something doesn’t work, it’s ur problem, maybe a bad installation
And on Windows 11 battery is just bad, maybe 3h upkeep
Recommendation:
Before you install, just create a restore point and backup, and go for the dual-boot for sure, just to be safe
There is a video on YouTube on how to dual-boot Arch Linux by KSK Royal, and it’s pretty good. Just follow his steps, and you’ll be good to go
