CoreBook X i5-12450H - Ram Upgrade (it works)

I haven´t wait long enough. It rly takes his time to acknowldge the upgrade.

That does the trick now both of my modules are runing.
Corsair Veg. SO-DIMM DDR4-3200 16GB Schwarz.
and Crucial

And what about the performance after this? What temperature do you have in games?

Performance is like before with more memory. It gets hot and loud with heavy tasks like every laptop.

I have seen that some models with adequate thermal pads and thermal paste have achieved substantial improvements. Today I’m going to take a look at it

Have you seen any videos that demonstrate this?
If so can you tell me the link please?

Search “chuwi thermal mod” on Google.

I tried searching on Google but no specific results for the CoreBook i5-12450H model

In fact, I didn’t say that there is for this specific model, but that they see chuwi models to which modifications have been made. From the disassembly video, I can see that there are no changes to be made, except for changing the thermal paste with a more performing one or with liquid metal

english:
I have the Corebook X model with an i5-12450H processor.
I’ve already disassembled it, and the RAM is on 2 SO-DIMM slots. Out of the box, it came with a single 16GB DDR4-3200 module.
My motherboard is an Intel Alder Lake-P PCH, and I’d like to upgrade by installing 2 DDR5 4800 SO-DIMM modules (DDR5 64GB (2x32GB) 4800MHz (PC5-38400) 262-pin CL40 1.1V SODIMM), of course enabling dual channel.
By doing so, I should not only be able to work comfortably, but also enable Iris Xe, right?

Corebook X does not support ddr5 and does not have Intel Iris Xe, but Intel Xe 48EUs, and it is good enough

buy ddr4-3200.
thanks.
Send report after changing it.

I confirm the purchase of the ram. everything works.
activated the dual channel.
2 x 32gb DDR4 3200.
everything works. installed linux Debian. for this I will open another post.

Thanks for the info , for sure others users find it useful
