My gf’s laptop does not seem to have either camera or microphone installed in device management.
Opening the camera, it shows: NoCamerasAttached. Tried to solve it via troubleshooting but no gains.

Have you reinstalled Windows ?

Never reinstalled, if possible I will avoid that
You can restart in safe mode.
You can boot the computer with a Linux USB drive (do not install) to check if there is sound or if the camera works.
