GemniBook Touchpad scrolling down

I am having an issues where after my computer is turned on for a bit the touch pad will continuousnly scroll down and will not stop. I dont even need to be touching it, it aslmost makes the computer not functional. even disabling it sometimes doesnt work. I am running windows 11 home.

update I disable the track pad its still doing it I dont know if there is a scroll lock feature messed up but cant use arrow keys still moves down

  • Outdated drivers can sometimes cause unexpected behavior. Open Settings > Windows Update > Advanced options > View your update history > Optional updates . Look for touchpad driver updates and install any available ones.

Tech told me that the most probably thing is that the keyboard is broken.
When did you buy and where? to know if its still on Warranty.
If not maybe i can ask if we have some replacements still

I bought it second hand off eBay so it’s probably out of warranty I’m gonna try to install Ubuntu and if it still do it than it’s probably a hardware failure.

Then does not have warranty. Do as you said with ubuntu. And if it does not work. My recomendation is to go to a local repair shop ask them what could be the problem,. and if its something in which we could have some replacements parts, they can tell you which one, i can ask here if we have and if so you can buy it and we send to you and you repair there
