Hi 10 Pro - PQ64G421610 - Bricked My Tablet

Not sure what happened but my tablet doesnt turn on anymore, i had linux installed once, then switched back to windows, everything was fine. I also want to note that I did remove the android partition and left only the windows but everything was working fine but one day i was in the bios and reset everything to default, then rebooted and it stopped turning on.

There is no lights when I plug it in to the charger either

Serial Prefix: PQ64G421610

I need the bios file, also I need to know which external programmer works and that I should buy (from aliexpress)

I also need to know an alternate method to install or reset the bios.

Thanks

Thanks, whats the phoneflash tool for?

I have a similar problem.
Model: CWI529
S/N: PQ64G42161101925
BIOS chip: W25Q64FW
After quite a while without using my Hi10 Pro, I have not been able to get it to boot again.
I have tried all the methods of pressing the different buttons and none of them worked.
I have noticed that when I connect the power via USB-C, the tablet emits a slight heat in the area where the motherboard and CPU are.
I have found that, without booting, it consumes 800 mAh from the charger.
A few weeks ago I took the tablet apart to check the battery status.
When I measured the battery voltage it indicated below 3V.
I read on a forum that if the tablet had been connected to its keyboard, it has a slight consumption that ends up draining the battery and, indeed, the whole time I was not using it it was connected to its keyboard.
To check if the battery was in good condition, I unsoldered it from the motherboard and connected it to a charger that would allow me to see how many mAh it held and how much it discharged. After doing the test, I got a result of about 6,500 mAh both charged and discharged.
I came to the conclusion that the BIOS had probably been corrupted somehow, so after getting the .bin file for my tablet.
I came to the conclusion that the BIOS had probably been corrupted somehow, so after getting the .bin file for my tablet (thanks @manonegra222 ), I unsoldered the chip, backed up its contents, and then flashed the new version.I have tested the 1.8V module with the CH341A programmer + it reads and writes the BIOS without any problem.
But the tablet still won’t boot.
I’m waiting for 10 W25Q64FW chips that I bought at AE in case the one installed in the tablet has any defects.
Any help would be appreciated.

To install the OS in the tablet

Which Eeprom Flash tool i can buy from aliexpress that will work with this tablet for reflashing bios?

I used this
https://es.aliexpress.com/item/1005006530290946.html
The set indicated that include the adapter to 1.8V used by the W25Q64FW chip

But I haven’t solved my problem.
I received 2 IC W25Q64FW that I buy in the case the installed in the tablet is wrong.
I backup the info contained in the original bios and flashed in the new one, without exit.
I flashed the bios contained in the “Hi10 Pro (P) Z8350 BIOS” file in the original IC and the new one without exit.
I can’t flash the bios if the IC is soldered to motherboard. The programmer is not recognized by the PC.
I connected the tablet directly to a lab power supply. I selected 3.9V (similar to a LiPo) and when I power it, without pressing any buttons, the Hi10Pro consumes 1.5Ah.
If I hold down the power button for a few seconds, the consumption drops to 400 mAh. And if I hold down the power button for a few seconds again, the consumption goes back up to 1.5Ah.
I made this little video.

Muchas gracias.

Hello @otraver, did you manage to solve the problem?

I think the same thing happens to me, as I describe in

Because of Windows it seems that my Chuwi CWI529 Hi10 Pro has been bricked.
I haven’t gotten that far yet, but I’m considering trying what you’ve done by programming the W25Q64FW.

Any guidance will be welcome.

Thank so much.

No, no he conseguido ningĂșn avance.
