Hi10 Pro WIFI not working with WPA2 security / encryption

It seems Hi10 Pro Wifi on Android supports only the older WPA.
My Wifi AP is WPA2 only and can not be switched to other encryption methods.
Is there a software update supporting WPA2 available?
