HI10 PRO Z8350 no deja mover orden de inicio en BIOS / it does not let me move the boot order in BIOS

Hi, I still have this PC/tablet with 4Gb RAM and 64Gb eMMC, as I got stuck with a Win10 update and was already very tight for that use, I thought to install Linux Mint, the system seems to work well with this OS. for now everything works, the problem is that the Hi10 BIOS does not let me select the boot partition UBUNTU, if I boot with F7 and select that partition I boot, if from the BIOS I select that partition for manual boot works, the problem is that the boot menu can not be modified and always appears Android/IA which is the original boot partition, I tried to connect a normal keyboard, in that menu look to move it with ± etc … but nothing, it is locked, and that tremendous nonsense so unintelligent designer prevents me from booting that pc normally.

What can I do? is there any BIOS update that will allow me to do such a simple thing as moving the boot order?

When you installed Mint did you format the eMMc. When I install Linux on these windows systems, I always format the hard drive with “G parted” thus making 1 large (ext4) drive to install Linux on. Mint will install a new boot grub. Also you can try to turn off the secure boot in the bios menu. Which tablet do you have? If you can boot from a USB of Linux mint, while in the live boot, format the eMMc using the tools available, them install Mint.

Thanks Bryan for your answer, i have a Chuwi Hi10PRO i put it in my first comment, i format all eMMC, I have been working as an IT specialist since +30 years ago, and the problem is the BIOS of Hi10, can not change the first boot, its stupidly blocked and i can not change it, how i tell in my first comment, if i boot with F7 i can boot my Linux, if i force start with ubuntu in BIOS i can boot my Linux, but i can not change the boot order in BIOS because its stupidly blocked, and this is because can not start my Linux install normally without press F7 or any keys…

is there a BIOS for this model that can modify the boot order???

We do not have for this model a BIOS unlocked.
