My Larkbox was bought on Kickstarter. It worked for some time and 1 day I turn it off and store it, next day it has no post.
The blue LED turns on, the fan spins when needed… no HDMI output…
I tried removing the CMOS battery, resetting and all and nothing happens.
Chuwi is asking me to send it to Hong kong… it costs me 40 quid just to send, plus whatever fee they will charge to repair and send it back… there must be another way!!
Anyone else had similar issue and managed to recover?? I’m about to take a multimeter and probe the mobos… for 100 quid it doesnt make sense to repair… such a shame…
fyi it turns out my issue is with certain monitors, when connected via HDMI-HDMI and not HMDI-VGA-VGA connector to a monitor the unit boot as usual…
also when i put the MicroSD card inside it gave me a BSOD, after that it boot normally again and recognized the card.
I dont know what changed to make it incompatible with some monitors (via vga hdmi adapter), but at the moment i prefer not to touch anything more
