After 2 years and 3 months the CMOS battery is sucessfully dead. The mini PC doesn’t save any BIOS change anymore, and auto powers on after i plug it (powers on, powers off, then powers on again). Can someone instruct me on how to replace it? Thanks
Write to Service@chuwi.com and ask if we have still some stock but i doubt as its a quite old product
What type of CMOS battery is used? CR1220 or CR2032, 2 or 3 pins?
Mine came with a CR1220 3V.
Anyways I’m just using that mini PC CMOSless. It just powers on when I plug power and stays powered on, easy. With a RMM I can eventually power it off (I’m using it as a little server box to compile software).
I’ve tried removing the charging cable and battery, but the device doesn’t turn on automatically when power is connected. I’d also like to do the same to use it as a home server. Can you help?
