Interesting find!
My experience is that battery specs of lesser known brands are often too good to be true. An independent test and volume of sales would help.
Having said that, Chuwi battery specs are 7.6 Volts x 3800 mAh = 28.8 Wh capacity. My tests have pointed out that this is pretty close.
This company specifies 5100 mAh, would you know at which Voltage?

This only shows 3.8V, which probably a single cell? As I don’t think the 7.6V is negotiable. This needs to be 2-cells to work for MiniBook X.

Sort of an old thread, but I just tried one of these AliExpress batteries with my CHUWI Minibook X N150, and yeah … a completely fraudulent farce. It’s going back now. After a complete EC reset, and a handful of full charge cycles, it’s still just a plan old 3800mAH battery.
If I happen to find a real battery that is greater than 3800mAH, I’ll update here.
You just saved me from an aliexpress purchase. I will just have to continue using the power bank.

I had a back and forth with a different vendor on AliExpress about their 5100mAH battery. I tried being fair, and explained my previous experience buying a battery from a different vendor, and what to expect from this battery. They started with responses like “final capacity won’t be exactly 5100” and things like that – which I totally understand – but to me that means like 5099, 5090, 5075. When I asked them straight up if the battery controller would report the design capacity of the battery as 5100mAH to the EC, they responded with “You might want to try a different vendor.”
Yeah … DO NOT buy these batteries.
I would pay $$ if Chuwi released a larger capacity battery. The current fake ones on Ali are $30-45. I’d probably pay upwards of $75 for a compatible battery over 5000mAH.
