Ubuntu sound not working

I have a chuwi herobook pro with dual-boot windows and ubuntu installed.
On windows the sound works while on ubuntu it doesn’t work.
I’ve tried all the possible guides found on the internet but nothing still doesn’t work !!
Does anyone have the same problem as me and was able to solve the problem?

Hello, I have the same problem. I have tried more than 20 Linux different and the sound does not work. I keep testing.

Hi, i have the same problem but in a corebox pro, and can’t find a way to do audio work (Analog audio) but over HDMI works for me, if this is not an option bluetooth audio work too (Ubuntu 22.04)

I’ve had the same problem, support for ubuntu is non existent as CHUWI doesn’t provide any help whatsoever with drivers/kernel modules in linux, they will just tell you to roll back to W10. Very disappointing.

I was able to make the sound work on my Chuwi HeroBox with N5100 and Ubuntu 22.04 following this turorial:

I haven’t tried jack output yet, but HDMI does work.
