I bought a corebook x i3 1220p and i am not satisfied at all with the slow wifi speed of max 60mbps instead of almost 800mbps on my old Thinkpad T480. Can someone help or do i have to sell it? I have a Wifi 6 router and 800mps internet connection
Have you checked the device manager?
You can write to support.
You can search for a chat in Telegram.
You can search on YouTube.
Reset Network adapter
Reinstall drivers
Restart router and check again
Thanks. I tried it but still same slow wifi. now it gave me only 12mbps down but up 90mbps.
How about other devices hooked to same router?
If you have 4G 5G mobile internet, try creating hotspot and hook to it and check again.
This may help isolate the issue.
If nothing works, initiate warranty claim and take it to service center
Hello, check one simple setup in the network connection setup. The Security protocols are marked as AEP ? Or other. I had for long time issue with some specific models of Intel network cards where connection was slow and unstable when using TKIP or AEP( dont remember which). After I updated setup to user the one that was not defaulted. Issue solved. This may help.
Thanks for the answer. The router is a Wifi 6 and set to AES same as the corebook x. I will try out what you said and keep you updated. Also planning to change the Wifi card on the motherboard coming days and keep you updated. If its still the same problem i will sell it.
