Will using standard Radeon Graphic Drivers brick my computer?

Long story short: I haven’t gotten an update for my Radeon RX Graphics driver since 2018 (currently running on v25.20.15002.58). I know there a newer version of the standard RX Graphics driver exists, and I’m having a lot of issues with programmes and whatnot randomly crashing because my version is out of date.

So my question is: can I safely update to the standard driver, so that the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant will keep it up to date or will doing so break something for the PC?
