BIOS boot priority ignored for Windows version. Can't run Mint Linux setup from usb

Hi.
I have larkbox with windows installed.
Now, i want to try install linux mint instead of windows.
But AMI bios ignores boot priority settings, even if i set windows boot to [Disabled] and only USB drive avalable to boot…

What i am doing wrong? Please help

Seems like the BIOS can’t read your USB stick as bootable. Test the same stick with a windows installation on it, and see if it pops up on the boot list. If so, then maybe your linux installation on the same USB stick is not made right.

Yes, you are correct.
Previously, i’ve used stick created by the winsetupfromusb tool. And it worked for my Lenovo notebook.

Just created setup from mint iso writer and it worked fine with larkbox.

Thanks!
