Bios Update needed for Windows CA Update

Hello everyone,

After all my attempts to install the new certificates from the new Windows CA have failed, I unfortunately have to turn to the forum for help.

When will a new BIOS version be released that includes the new Windows CA certificates?

I have eight computers, and I was able to resolve the issue on all of them except my Chuwi device. There are only 18 days left before my PC will no longer boot.

Although I was aware that buying a computer from a lesser-known manufacturer in China could come with certain challenges, as an IT professional I have to say that choosing Chuwi was probably the worst decision I could have made. I have rarely seen such a restricted and stripped-down BIOS.

I was also unaware that the BIOS contains insecure AMI test certificates. That is a serious oversight and a basic mistake that should never have made it into a production system.

I would appreciate any information regarding a BIOS update or an official solution to this issue.

Because you have 18 days for the computer to stop booting

Microsoft must provide Windows certificates.

How old is the computer and what operating system does it have ?

Hi! I have a LarkBox X N150 and my certificates aren’t updated either. Does this mean the mini PC will no longer be usable? Do I have to wait for Windows Update to release the update?
