Hello, I have an Aerobook with Windows 10,
I bought a 1Tb ssd disk from Samsung because my interest is not to use Windows but to keep it in the laptop as an auxiliary operating system of very little use since when I bought it they did not give me the option to choose an operating system.
I have tried to install Ubuntu several versions: 20.10, 20.04, 18 and in all of them it does not start, the laptop stays off after checking the USB files, if it passes that check and does not turn off it gives various failures in (sdb) even if you decide to run on the USB itself.
However if you install Debian it lets you reach the end but then it does not start and the WiFi drives are missing.
I have tried everything in the bios with no result.
Please, I would like a solution because we would not be forced to use Windows, much less that the bios has a defect that penalizes the use of free and open software such as Linux.

I have the same the problem. There are some tweets here in the community with one solution that works:
Install Ubuntu in legacy mode.
That’s not the best solution but it works.

He probado todas las combinaciones posibles algunas con catastróficos resultados:
Fatal: desactivar el disco ssd interno para instalar ubuntu desde un usb, no me dejo entrar de nuevo en el setup de la bios ni reconocer otros Usb, portátil definitivamente muerto. Lo logré reparar con un disco que compre similar al interno y un lector usb para discos m2 ssd, con otro portátil cree un disco de arranque en ese nuevo ssd y luego aun que ubuntu no arrancaba de ninguna manera si pude entrar en la bios.
Recuperado Windows probé a instalar distintas versiones de linux: ubuntu, debían, … con la que más lejos llegue fue con debían aun que no me permitió arrancar.
Todas las instalaciones con el modo seguro de la bios desactivado pero acaban de la misma forma sin dejar ejecutar Linux ni instalar ni en modo de prueba en la ram, detecta un error así:
" (sdb) tag#0 access beyond end of device "
Todo parece indicar un grave defecto de la bios, en primer lugar nunca debería bloquear el setup si tu tocas algo en la bios.
Por otra parte me escama que no te deje instalar otra cosa que Windows y esto me cabrea por que no tengo la libertad de controlar o instalar en un dispositivo de mi propiedad el sistema operativo que quiero.
¿Que puedo hacer para instalar una distribución Linux sobre el disco M2 de expansion libre ssd?
¿Por qué Cuwi ha puesto una bios en el portátil Aerobook que bloquea cualquier intento de instalar sobre un nuevo disco ssd M2 2280 sobre la ranura de expansión?
¿¿POR QUE CHUWI NO PERMITE INSTALAR O PROBAR OTROS SISTEMAS OPERATIVOS DISTINTOS DE WINDOWS EN EL LECTOR USB?
