There was no need to buy another license to switch language as that functionality is built into Windows since, I think, Vista. Just follow this guide: https://www.howtogeek.com/232659/how-to-change-the-display-language-in-windows-10/

I bought this Laptop. Nov 2022. For the price, WOW. Its still working. Well the sound issue defeated me. I have tried all the stuff put up on here. In have ended up re-installing the O.S. maybe 5 times. Tried Ubuntu, and Suse. Nothing gets me sound. Bluetooth, yeah headphones – ROCKIN’ But at some stage you just say ENOUGH.
Good Lick to all of ya.
Just a side note. I have a degree in Computer Science and work for DELL. I bring this “Toy” thats what its called in work. But it has beaten all the GEEKS. THEY ALL HAVE NEW IDEAS. None have worked so far.l Anyone who has gotten sound. Its luck. Or. My laptop is not Chuwi, made by them, but branded

Does any audio device show up in Windows device manager? Tried hwinfo64? On Linux you can try to run “hardinfo” (sudo apt get hardinfo, on deb based) to get a thorough overview of all the hardware in your machine. These should at least reveal the hardware id of the sound device, which you can use to find the make and model.
Here’a a thread all about this issue and possible solutions. Chuwi Gemibook Drivers
