I recently ordered the Chuwi Hi10 Max with the Intel N100 processor and it should arrive soon.
When I get the tablet, I’m planning to experiment with several operating systems besides Windows, mainly Linux, FydeOS, and Android x86. Before I start installing and testing things, I wanted to ask people who already own this device or have experience with it.
I would appreciate any information about compatibility and hardware support on alternative operating systems.
Some things I’m especially curious about:
- Does the touchscreen work properly on all operating systems?
- Are there any known driver issues (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, audio, cameras, sensors, battery reporting, sleep/standby, etc.)?
- Does hardware acceleration work correctly?
- Any problems with screen rotation or keyboard/trackpad support?
- How is overall stability and performance?
- Are there any chronic hardware/software issues I should know before installing?
- Any BIOS settings or installation tips that make the process easier?
If you have tried Linux distributions, FydeOS, Android x86, or other operating systems on the Hi10 Max, please share your experience.
