I bought my chuwi hi10x around two years ago from aliexpress. I’ve had no issues with it until a few months ago. When I hold the power button, there is a red light indicating its powering on, but the screen will stay black for around 1-3 minutes, before it decides to finally boot up and show the chuwi logo.
Before this issue started to occur I was busy installing and testing multiple different linux distro’s and desktop environments. I have gone into the bios and reset it to default, but the problem still persists.
Please, if you have any solution to this problem, please share it. I haven’t messed around with any other settings in the bios, because I don’t want to accidentally brick the tablet.
