DISCLAIMER: This is an AFU dump by me of the BIOS of my CHUWI. Me and CHUWI company are not responsible for bricked BIOSes. Also this is my first time using the Aptio Firmware Update Utility.
Introduction
I saw many people asking for a more recent BIOS for their CHUWI. I’m lucky since my LarkBox comes with a BIOS from 2022, as I got it for my birthday in late 2022.
My LarkBox Pro
I don’t know if CHUWI made different LarkBoxes, but here are my specs:
- Intel Celeron J4125 @ 2.00 GHz
- 8 GB RAM DDR4 2133 MHz
- 128 GB SSD
- TPM 2.0
- UHD 600
- Windows 11 Out of the box
BIOS Dump
To dump the BIOS I just needed the Aptio V Firmware Update (AFU) Utility, opened it on Windows and hit the save button.
Flashing BIOS
To update the BIOS, you can use the AFU tool. I’m not an expert of that tool, but reading a bit of it, these are the steps that should make the job:
