I purchased a corebook in Dec 2024 from the Chuwi store on Aliexpress.
Laptop has been brilliant but last week I noticed it only works when connected to charger.
Current steps taken are as follows
-Updated windows
-Uninstalled and reinstalled AC and ACPI adaptors.
-Ran a battery report which states no battery connected
Any help would be appreciated.
I found this post as a result of searching for solutions to the same problem as I have the same laptop, even purchased at the same time, and the battery suddenly disappeared and stopped being recognized in Windows while it was on charge about a week ago. I had tried everything I could think of and was resigned to either replacing the battery myself or returning the laptop, but today while I was looking for the box and packaging I tried it with the barrel plug charger that came in the box (previously I had only been using USB-C chargers as I have a lot of them in the house) and the battery instantly came back to life! It was stuck on 0% for what felt like a long time but eventually charged to 100% and it works on battery power again. Had to write this just in case it’s the same situation for you - I’m guessing the USB-C charging on my unit is no longer working or has always been buggy, I’d rather not use the barrel plug but in the end it’s a small sacrifice to have a fully functional laptop again.
