I would like to install the debian + hyprland system on the laptop. Does the hardware work? Is there any documentation? Thanks
Chuwi products are design for the windows operating system. They do not have any documentation for Linux. A few of us do however use Linux with their products. I would suggest that you test Debian using a “live” image to see what works or not. Current, I’m running Linux Mint on my Hi10-Max. The cameras are the only thing not working, all other components are supported.
Since Linux is not officially supported, it’s trial and error by the user. Some Linux operating systems will work while (or maybe mostly work, a component or two don’t work, i.e., cameras) others won’t work. An example is Ubuntu. I found that this Os doesn’t work well on Chuwi products while Linux Mint which is based on Ubuntu works great. It all depends on the Kernel modification that the developers have made.
As with any Linux version, test with a live version before installing.
