bought 2 memory sticks of 32 GB (32*2) ddr4 3200 1.2v PUSKILL. result: the laptop does not see them. they do not want to work both in 1 slot and in 2 slots. I tried to swap them, put them in pairs and 1 by 1. result - they do not work. What could be the reason? the laptop turns on. the power indicator lights up and that’s it! the screen does not turn on, there is no power-on sound.
I can’t enter the BIOS - black screen. The touchpad doesn’t respond. The “chuwi” logo doesn’t appear on the screen. If I return the “native memory” everything works.
Thanks to everyone, nothing helped - everything worked by itself! I tried to start the laptop for 3 days, nothing worked. I started filming a video to return the RAM to the seller - and at that moment the laptop turned on! It’s a miracle… I read the forum - I found a similar situation, there the guy’s memory started working after some time too. I think this is a problem in the BIOS. There is clearly something wrong there! I have no other explanation.
ssd disk 1tb updated without problems. now my laptop has 1tb disk and 64gb ram
Hey. It was not a miracle or a bios issue - computer was training RAM (checking what latencies, frequency etc. it can use). Sometimes it can take up to 5minutes (apparently DDR5 is worse than DDR4 in that process).
