For the last two months I have only a blank screen - no display at all. I’ve tried 4 monitors using HDMI C and DP without success. On power up the blue LED lights as usual and the fan runs but no image appears - what can I do to restore this PC to life? It was bought last year. Thanks.
The problem occurred after doing something to the mini PC.
You can enter the BIOS.
As far as I can tell, it only updated the Windows 11 installation, then would not restart with any display. Unless the BIOS was able to update itself (and then failed) as I rarely look for bios updates so soon after purchase.
Any idea which BIOS version I should have? Tks.
I’m not asking if you updated the BIOS.
- I’m asking if you can enter the BIOS and see the normal BIOS ?
The BIOS doesn’t update itself.
I have tried F1 and F2 without success. Is this right to enter the BIOS.
I think it’s the key: esc
The CHUWI website claims you need F2 and DEL, ESC on its own. Doesn’t seem to do anything useful!
In my opinion it seems like a hardware problem.
Sorted (eventually) ! After trying various combinations - F2 managed to raise the BIOS screen for 3 seconds, before it went black for a further 3….. to be replaced with the CHUWI splash screen and the normal windows log in screen.
It then downloaded a pile of Windows 11 updates and it now restarts every time with the displays showing on DP, HDMI as normal.
Something must have prevented the BIOS from initialising at each power up, but calling on it somehow cleared the log-jam so I’m back in business (and celebrating its first birthday today!). Thanks!
