Cant use ethernet and wifi because of corrupted MAC addresess. As I can understand, BIOS needs an update? Or is there any other solution to that kind of problem?

Sorry did not see this message:
What happened prevouslly to that, did you install anything?
PC came with preinstalled Windows 11, but for work Windows 10 is more suitable OS.
So after trying installing OS with SCCM problem with MAC adress aquiered. I didn’t check, if MAC adress was corrupted from the start, but in BIOS all MAC adresses (ethernet and wifi) are zeros.
Is there a solution to fix that problem without installing OS and editig MAC with Realtec software? Isn’t this problem just a unsuccessfull BIOS setup?
To clarify, OS is not installed through SCCM because of the MAC problem. Installation just ends with ethernet drivers error. Even if I try to use “offline” image of Windows 10.
This looks like hardware error. You might try to set a locally administered address via the driver settings.
While I never can remember big and little endian you can use 5A:5A:5A:5A:5A:5A. That is a palindrome with the local administered bit set to 1.

If you just bought it i recommend you to send it back, would be better. Where did you buy it?
Can’t tell where did my organisation buy this book. I’ve only seen them as IT specialist.
But looks like they gonna send this model back because of this malfunction.
Sadly, this thread can be closed now. I already gave back Corebook back to my org managment. It probably was just a hardware error or corrupted BIOS. We never know…
