Mousepad doesn’t connect anymore. I tried turning it off and on again. I also tried the FN+ESC but it just doesn’t go back to the physical keyboard…

Give me your serial number, lets see if installing the drivers would solve it

Hi, I don’t have it currently with me. I can give you my order number. I just got it less than a month ago

i need the serial number is in the back of the computer. Ask it to the person who has it. If its been less than a month ago maybe if its a real hardware issue could be replaced.but first need to try to solve

It’d be wonderful

Hi Maria, I downloaded it but nothing changed when I restarted the PC

There is something that i dont know if it may help you, is in the last messages of this post, try that because maybe is connected to this reason-.

I didn’t understand, could you translate it, please?

This is what another user said:
I think it may be related, in his case the keyboard was the problem, but yours is the mousepad, it may be the same case, that it does not change from being “tablet” to “pc” and thats why even installing the drivers again does not work.

This is what he said:

I may have figured out the problem with broken tablet/PC switching. It is indeed the accelerometer not functioning properly. There is no manual setting in Win 11 to switch from Tablet to PC mode, so you are totally dependent on the accelerometer to switch.
I did the following:
1 To be able to use the keyboard again (I could do that with an external mouse):
Go to Settings - device manager - sensors - MEMSIC dual accelerometer driver. Then doubleclick driver, Update - Browse PC - Let me pick - select the driver (it re-installs now and the keyboard is enabled).
2 To prevent re-occurance of the problem
Doubleclick the driver, goto tab Power management - Uncheck “allow to turn off”

So far it works

Then he says again:.

“Additional to the problem above, also unexpected changing of modes (tablet to keyboard) frequently occurred. I have solved this by installing “Lenovo mode switcher”. Since then the computer works as intended.”

Im waiting for the answer of tech anyways, you can try that on the meantime i get an answer from tech and see what else can we do.

Amazing, thanks!!! I’ll do that and will let you know
