GemiBook Plus N100 (new purchase) No sound/ audio

Hi,

I received my GemiBook Plus N100 yesterday.
I updated drivers and I am currently updating all windows version (windows 11 pre-installed).
Since I received I have no sound (the drivers seem to be working, I have no issues in device manager and all seem up to date).
Is this maybe a hardware problem? Did I receive a faulty laptop?

Any guidance much appreciated, I am trying to assess if I should return it.

Hi, I tried to get a partial refund since it was working but Aliexpress/CHUWI store declined. As I did not want to return it (to return it I had to pay around 40 euros to ship it to a foreign country which is a lot, and then wait for probably a long time but I had work that couldn’t wait!), I opened it up, disconnected the speakers from the motherboard and reconnected them again and now it works like a charm. It was a loose speakers connection, so I was lucky.

Really nice product, with excellent display, but the warranty/customer service was disappointing (since the speakers were not working but bluetooth sound was working, I thought that a partial refund would be reasonable instead of paying to return it and probably wait for months, as I had university work to do which couldn’t wait!).
