Some keys on my freebook keyboard suddenly don’t work anymore. As a temporary fix I used a keymapper tool to map the keys not working anymore.
On Aliexpress I found 2 items for replacement - a keyboard, or a palmrest with the keyboard already placed, however the touchpad must be moved from the old palmrest to the new one.
Has anyone already replace their chuwi keyboard before? If so, can you give me some hints and tips what to do or not to do.
As far as I can judge now, replacing a palmrest is easier, as glueing the new keyboard properly would be a harder job than moving the palmrest.
