After using my HeroBook Pro laptop for 1 week, the battery lasts for about 15 minutes. This is not normal. It lasted for hours in the first a few days of use (also, per the specifications, the battery should last about 4-7 hours). Is it possible to debug and fix this problem?
Open CMD, type powercfg /batteryreport /output "C:\battery_report.html"
and post the output file here
Hi coderex, how to attach the report? as the report is in html format.
It’s easy to upload screenshots.
(be careful that screenshots shouldn’t include personal information. clip only battery info.)
Hi.
What I can write is Windows cannot decide if battery has enough charge, because BIOS returns no value about charged energy in the battery. (“CAPACITY REMAINING” tells “-”, that is invalid value).
According to Microsoft, many CHUWI products are not compliant with Windows ACPI implementation. As a result, PC is very unstably working without AC adapter.
Regarding battery, I think he is right (see topic below).
Thanks very much making clear for what is wrong. I got a message from service@chuwi.com and made a reply to them, asking for a solution…
