Herobook Pro not holding charge

I have a Herobook Pro Intel N4020 that I keep plugged in. Something I was told to do several years ago. Now I get the message to plug in the laptop. Could I have blown the battery? Any advice on what to do about this would be much appreciated. Thanks

Most laptops allow you to check battery health through system settings or BIOS. For your Herobook Pro, look for any options that report the battery’s condition. If it’s showing as “Poor” or “Replace,” it’s time for a new battery.

It can be the battery pproblem, did you check if the charger is working?

All good tips to look into, thank you. All of a sudden though, it started charging again. I may have a charging port issue. I just keep it plugged in while in use then unplug it when I shut down. Again, thanks to you all.
