I attempted to upgrade the BIOS in a CWI526 HiBook Pro using the file at this location:- [HiBook] [Official Version] Chuwi HiBook Bios + Android + Windows download
but now the screen does turn on nothing happens, it does not even attempt to boot.
Ironically the document states the following:-
Flash BIOS（If it’s reinstall system, you can not flash bios，flashing the wrong bios may result in no display,Please be cautious.）
What exactly do you mean by “reinstall system” and is there now a way to recover from this?
That means you’ve broken the device.
You should contact Chuwi support.
How to recover the device:
External BIOS chip: In severe cases, the BIOS chip can be desoldered and reprogrammed externally.

Where can I get the correct BIOS file?
In Chuwi support.
if the device doesn’t start, there’s nothing you can do.
To find out about the BIOS you have to search on Google

I have and I have a programmer that can do the chip, I just need the file to put onto the BIOS chip.
