HiPad Max Snapdragon680 Reboot loop

My HiPad Max suddenly is stuck in an endless reboot loop. It started to reboot automatically yesterday. After every start it immediately reboots again. I tried to switch it off completely but none of the buttons are reacting and the touch screen also does not work.

Is there a way to stop the reboot cycle?

Hi, I´m not familiar with flashing tools, is there any other tutorial that I can follow to make this reinstall? My serial is JHipdMKK20230408149. @ChuwiSpainSupport

@ChuwiSpainSupport Hi, I have the same problem as @jaaronpm. The table does not go from the active state and restarts after 5 seconds.
Number series JHipadMKK10220800877

One more here, I tried the Google Play Services workaround and still it freezes.

SERIAL: JHIPDMKK20221103976

When can we expect a fix?

This bug is caused by Google app, because Ok Google feature is enabled.

To fix this, you need to reboot your tablet to Safe Mode.
After reboot, don’t unlock the tablet, must stay on Lock screen, hold Power button to show power options, hold Restart option and A window will appear indicating that if you want to reboot to safe mode, click Yes (if you can’t click Yes because the window is bugged, try use screen in vertical or use a USB keyboard to select Yes).

After the tablet reboots to safe mode, go to Google app settings, disable Ok Google or just wipe Google app data to restore app settings to default.

Then reboot tablet and the problem will be fixed.

It’s probably that Google already fixed that and you must update Google app in Play Store now, since 2 days ago, I just enabled it again and it was fixed.

@armdrake thank you for updating and trying to explain

The support you give for the help of this forum is zero, you do not help at all, do not respond to messages in Spanish or English (I speak for myself) you are only repeating what others say or Appreciating what others say when you should tell us What is the best answer: it is what you work for to help customers who acquire and buy and trust chuwi tablets. I’m not being disrespectful, I’m being honest. The support leaves a lot to be desired. This is the first, the only and the last time I buy CHUWI electronics.
No estoy siendo irrespetuoso ,estoy siendo honesto. El soporte deja mucho que desear. Esta es la primera, la unica y la última vez que compro electronicos CHUWI.

Thank you very much for your help AND your advice. This helped me, thank you. My tablet now works better and you say well after Google would fix that problem.

If someone else have problems with Hi Pad Max boot please read this post-

Aún así te pido disculpas si te has sentido desatendido.

If I don’t have “reboot to Safe Mode” as an option, presumably that means I’m already IN safe mode (which I believe I am since I invoked it earlier.) But being in safe mode doesn’t help. I can’t get to Google App settings because the screen is frozen and then it reboots.

You might need use a USB keyboard (and maybe a OTG adapter) if you can’t reboot to Safe mode which is still possible by holding POWER button to show Power menu options and hold Reboot option few seconds until a confirmation window shows up about Reboot to Safe Mode and click Yes. But there’s one thing, that confirmation window get stretched and can’t click Yes to reboot to safe mode, so you need the USB keyboard to select Yes (even if its not visible due the windows is stretched) and then wipe Google app data.

If you configured screen size to tiny/small and can rotate screen to Vertical, probably you can click Yes option in the border, if not then try USB keyboard.

I got so frustrated with this entire process that I just put the tablet aside for a few months (I have another tablet I can use). Thought I’d check back to see if there was anything new because I’ve completely given up on this “flashing” stuff. Lo and behold – I was able to go into Safe Mode, do a hard factory reset, and all is well! And then I just transferred all my settings, etc. from another Android tablet.

Well, you managed to recover the tablet and transferred the configuration to a new tablet, but what caused that bug was the Google app because the Ok Google function was enabled and with an old version installed, since the latest updates fixed that bug. In Safe mode, you could wipe Google app data to disable that function and update the app in Normal boot.
