How to bring the Finger scan back to work

My Finger Scan at the Power Button stop working for long time with Window Hello Function.

Does anyone know how to bring it back to work ?

My issue is, I recently became the owner of an X1 Yoga (really enjoyed it thus far). However, after recent windows updates, my fingerprint scanner is no longer working. The light shines green and as soon as I go to log in the light turns off. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the fingerprint reader software to no avail. This is my first time owning a Lenovo. Please send help!
