Why replace the thermal paste ?
Have you taken a computer assembly and repair course ?
Why do I ask ?
If the computer is a year old or more, it might be possible to do some repairs.
If everything was fine before, it’s something that you did when replacing the thermal paste, which no one but yourself knew. Most common “error” is not removing the battery connector and you accidentally triggered an unwanted circuitry, but it’s just a speculation, since it works again later probably the damage is recoverable. Need a technician with eagle eyes to see what has been partically burnt or something.
I never try to repair a new device: that’s what the warranty is for.
A new device has a return policy or warranty.
Problem fixed. I updated my window and then now my keyboard and pad is working very well even when its cold.
● i replaced my thermal paste bexause its so burning when i using in original state. So i replaced with better paste, put some thermal pad too.. so temperature got better, but keep makes me concerning about unexpected malfunction
What is this misbehavior ?
Is it before or after changing the thermal paste ?
On my Ubox, which I bought this year, it seems to be working fine.
