Laptop freezes and reboots

Good afternoon.

1.Chuwy gemibook plus 15’6 laptop on N150 with nvme (win11 home). JGeBPLIC5H250402994

2.I bought it on the Russian marketplace.

3.January 2026.

4.Russia.

5.The laptop freezes regularly, which after ~ 5 minutes turns into a bsod critical_process_died, freezes at 0% complete, then reboots and enters the BIOS. When he tries to exit the BIOS, he enters it again. Only a hard reset helps..We tried to rearrange the OS, install Linux, etc. These freezes are happening everywhere.chkdsk, dism, and scf/scannow did not produce results.A dump is not created during the BSOD, there are several errors in the event log that the system unexpectedly shut down and “The dump file could not be created due to an error when creating the dump. BuqCheckProgress was: 0x00040049”.We checked the memory - everything is OK.We checked the disk via Victoria - everything is OK.According to S.M.A.R.T, the disk is 100% healthy%And I was also confused by the fact that during one of the attempts to rearrange the OS, it also froze at the very beginning of the installation. The drivers were installed with support.chuwy.However, freezes occur after a random time and the laptop just stands next to it, just the image freezes, the num/caps/scroll lock indicators do not turn on/off when pressed. Thank you in advance.

Try to change the disk for a new disk. Then install the OS. Windows killed my factory disk with updates and telemetry logging (I think). I use Linux now.

where can I get a new disk? My diagnosis was made from improvised software.

Looks like WD Blue or Crucial MX500 series SATA SSDs seesm to have the best aftermarket compatibility with the Gemibook Plus N150.

Looking at the specifications:

A drive that matches these specifications should be used:
1× M.2 2280 SSD Slot, Compatible with SATA 3 or PCIe 3.0×2
