Posting this partly as a warning and partly to ask if anyone has a contact who can actually escalate inside Chuwi.
Background: my Minibook X N150 (bought Nov 2025 from the official AliExpress store) developed a display-cable fault — flickering lines and corruption that also show in the BIOS, plus a “DSI link not ready” message at boot. External monitors are fine, so it’s the internal panel/ribbon. This matches other reports here.
What happened since:
- 23 Jul 2026 – opened a warranty case with service@chuwi.com.
- 27 Jul – Chuwi told me to ship the unit to their repair centre: EUSTAR/CWCX, Philipsstraße 8, 52068 Aachen, Germany.
- 29 Jul – shipped with tracking provided and acknowledged by Chuwi.
- 11 Aug – carrier delivered the parcel to that Aachen address, with the courier’s signature and a delivered scan on file. I forwarded Chuwi the carrier’s written delivery statement and the signature image.
- 19 Aug onward – Chuwi keeps replying that their “warehouse has not received / cannot locate” the package.
- 26 Aug – still “not located”. I’ve now been without the laptop for a month and have no idea where its.
So the device was delivered and signed for at the exact address Chuwi gave me, and Chuwi is telling me they can’t find it internally. I’ve supplied every piece of proof they asked for.
Questions for the forum:
- Has anyone else had a device go missing after delivery to the EUSTAR/CWCX Aachen centre?
- Is there someone here who can push an RMA escalation? I have the case emails and the carrier’s delivery evidence ready to share.
Thanks for the help in advance
