Spotty wi-fi, signal strength fluctuates

The wi-fi on my Gemibook is very spotty, and I see it’s an issue on multiple Chuwi models.
The signal goes from full to just 1 bar and the speed drops so badly that I can’t open simple websites.

I am running Win11 and have updated the wireless adapter drivers through both Windows update and manually but it doesn’t help. Does anyone have a solution?

On my Gemibook I get 15mbps at most while my phone and Macbook are getting at least 70 at the exact same spot. I have rebooted my access point several times.
